课程简介
With the introduction of completely customised lingual appliances, lingual orthodontics has changed dramatically. Many orthodontists have successfully integrated lingual orthodontics into their everyday practice thereby proposing new treatment options to their patients.
CBMDA proud to introduce this two-week course focuses on lingual mechanics, highlighting the difference between lingual and labial treatment.
The various stages of a lingual treatment using totally individual lingual appliances are addressed in detail and supported, at appropriate progress points, by hands-on exercises with typodonts. The aim of the course is to provide optimum preparation for the successful integration of lingual orthodontics into the daily running of a practice.

2 x 5 days intensive course covering everything you need to know about lingual orthodontics with our CBMDA Specialist Orthodontists. Mornings will be theory session and in the afternoon, we will move to clinics treating our lingual patients. Ideal for Orthodontists who want to start cases under guidance and for those who already have experience and want to develop.

结业要求
Once you have completed your training and you have been certificated, we ask that you submit the required amount of ‘post training in clinic evidence’ and case studies within a 3 month period. This may be in the form of witness statements, client testimonials, photographic evidence, and reflection. You will learn more about post study on your training days and you will be provided with a work study pack to assist you.

Qualification and employment status

A dental qualification acceptable to China Britain Medical and Dental Academy.

Employment as an Orthodontist in a dental practice, dental school, hospital, or community dental services environment.
Access to facilities and equipment

Adequate clinical facilities and access to patients requiring treatment relevant to your subject area.

Approved video equipment, as part of the monitoring process (advice on this will be given in the first Intensive Face-to-Face course).
English requirements should be any of the following:

IELTS (overall score of 6.5, with 6.0 in the Writing and Speaking modules)

Chinese students attending clinical days will require an appropriate travel visa according to CBMDA regulations. Further advice is obtainable via CBMDA International Students Adviser under CBMDA Services

There will be ample phantom head practice of clinical procedures and video demonstrations, as well as clinic practice of records and photography and a review of current literature.
